My Sheep Know My Voice
My Sheep Know My Voice
Jesus said His sheep hear His voice — not occasionally, not for a select few, but as part of relationship. That statement reframes faith from information to connection.
Scripture gives us access to God’s heart, His character, and His ways. We live in a generation with more access to the Bible than ever before. But knowledge alone isn’t the goal.
When someone chooses to follow Christ, a real relationship begins. Communication becomes personal. God speaks — through guidance, comfort, and sometimes correction — not only during moments of Bible reading, but through His Spirit within us.
Scripture plays a critical role because it helps us recognize God’s voice and align our inner thoughts with Christ. It keeps relationship grounded and honest.
Prayer, then, becomes more than a list of requests. It becomes a conversation. Listening matters. God has more to share — insight, reassurance, and direction meant to lead us into a full and meaningful life.
Many people doubt their ability to hear God, assuming it’s for pastors or spiritually gifted individuals. But relationship isn’t inherited. It’s personal. If you are His, He desires to be known by you.
