Jesus Is The Word
John 1:1, 14 (ESV)
1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” 14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
John opens his Gospel with a powerful truth: Jesus is the Word. Not just someone who spoke God’s Word—but God’s Word made flesh.
The Bible tells us God’s Word is living and active. John helps us understand why. Scripture is God’s Word breathed out, and Jesus is that same Word sent into the world.
Through the life of Christ, God revealed Himself in the clearest way possible. In Jesus, we see God’s character, His heart, and His will lived out in real time.
Hebrews reminds us that God now speaks through His Son. When we read the Gospels and observe the life of Jesus, we are watching the Word of God in motion.
Jesus reveals God’s glory through:
How He lived
How He loved
How He served
This means Scripture isn’t just something to study—it’s something to receive. God’s Word carries life. As we read it, Christ works in us to heal, to save, and to shape us into who we were created to be.
When we submit to this reality, our lives become living letters—testimonies that point others to God’s glory.
