Get in the room

Get In The Room

Scripture Focus:
"A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before the great." — Proverbs 18:16

From Glory to Glory:
You are an incredible creation. Scripture declares that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. God took time to imagine you, to intentionally design every detail of who you are. He wove into you gifts, passions, and inner workings that point toward your divine purpose.

When you discover these unique qualities, you gain clarity about the actions and focus that best align with your life’s calling. As you sharpen and master these areas, you begin operating at a higher level — an iconic level. Successful people want and need others who live and lead like that around them.

King Solomon, in essence, teaches that when you discover what you were made for, doors of influence and opportunity begin to open. Kings, leaders, and business owners make room for those who bring undeniable value to their kingdoms, their businesses, and their organizations.

Don’t spread your energy thin by chasing everything. Narrow your focus. Pursue the few things that truly complement who you are. Don't try to be a “jack of all trades.” Master a few key things instead.

Maybe you’ve heard it said: "The best way to cut down a tree is not to strike it in a thousand different places, but to strike it a thousand times in one place."

In the same way — the best way to get into the room is to get into your flow.

Stay in your lane. Master your craft. Walk in what God made you for — and watch the doors open.

Be Iconic Challenge Question:
Have you discovered how to unlock the potential of your gifts and purpose?

Journal Prompt:
Write down the activities that seem to come naturally to you.

Additional Scriptures:

  • Psalm 139:13-16

  • Ephesians 2:10

  • John 14:12-14

Prayer:
Lord, give me wisdom to discover my unique and god-given purpose. Open my eyes to recognize the divine plan that you have given me. Help me become committed to the specific purpose that you have assigned me. Help me not to become distracted or discouraged and somehow forfeit your plan. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
