Where There's a Will There's a Way
Scripture Focus:
"9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done," — Matthew 6:9, 10
Moving Forward:
You’ve heard it said: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” It sounds motivating—and sometimes, it is. But let’s be honest: there are limits to human will. You can want it, work for it, and fight for it—and still hit a wall. Because your will, as strong as it may be, is not all-powerful.
But God’s will is.
Jesus didn’t teach us to chase after our own will—He taught us to submit. He taught us to pray like this: “Let Your Kingdom come, let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” That’s not just ‘good preaching’—that’s divine strategy. When you say Yes to God’s will, He says Yes to Godly action.
Think about that.
Your will might try to push through resistance, but His will obliterates it.
Your will might strive to fight hell with effort, but His will overcomes with heaven’s authority.
But here’s the key: God has chosen to work through human cooperation.
He doesn’t force His will—He invites yours to agree with it.
So when you say, “God, I want what You want,” heaven starts moving in the right direction. Earthly resistance doesn’t stand a chance. Hell can’t hold back God’s will. Why? Because you’re not walking in your own strength—you’re walking in alignment with divine purpose.
Today, stop striving in your own will. Surrender to His. Say yes to His will—and watch Him make a way.
Challenge Question:
Are there pursuits in your life that based YOUR will and YOUR desires that are not in alignment with God’s Kingdom?
Journal Prompt:
Examine your life. The areas that seem to be ‘hard’ and futile. Is this God’s will for your will? Write down areas that you should take to God and get His wisdom. Then, listen for His will. Let Him convince you of His way. Finally, make a declaration as Jesus instructed. ‘Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done!”

Proverbs 3:5, 6
Hebrews 10:36
Prayer:
I surrender to You. Your will. Your way. I trust that you have all the authority and that there is nothing impossible for you. Therefore, I pray, let your Kingdom come, let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
