Created To Multiply

It’s in Your DNA to Multiply

Bible Verse(s):

Luke 2:52
And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.

Genesis 1:27–28
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

Oftentimes people blame their humanity for their shortcomings and failures. They fail and then excuse it with the phrase, “I’m only human.”

But there is nothing only about your humanity.

You are the masterpiece of a masterful Creator. Scripture tells us that we are made in the image of God, and from the very beginning He placed a blessing and a command on humanity: be fruitful and multiply.

Increase was never meant to be rare in the life of a believer. It was woven into humanity at creation. God designed people with the ability to grow, develop, expand, and influence the world around them.

That design didn’t disappear when sin entered the world. And when someone comes to Christ, Scripture says they become a new creation. The old life no longer defines the future.

One of the most fascinating verses in the Bible about Jesus is found in Luke 2:52.

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.”

This verse reveals something remarkable. Jesus did not live His earthly life as a static, finished version of Himself. Instead, He lived a life of increase.

He grew in wisdom.
He matured physically.
He grew in favor with people.
And He grew in favor with God.

Jesus modeled the pattern of growth for humanity.

If the Son of God lived a life of development and increase, then growth should never surprise us—it should be expected. God designed life with forward movement in mind.

Sometimes people allow their past to become the loudest voice in their lives. Past failures, past mistakes, and past limitations try to convince us that growth isn’t possible.

But Scripture reminds us of something powerful: in Christ, all things become new.

That means your past does not have permission to define your future.

Through Christ, your humanity becomes connected to the divine life of God. His Spirit works in you, strengthening you, guiding you, and helping you become the person He designed you to be.

The potential for increase already exists within you.

You were created to grow.

You were created to expand.

You were created to multiply.

The real challenge is refusing to allow yesterday to control today.

So today, expect growth.

Look for opportunities to develop.

Allow who you are in Christ to lead you into who He created you to become.

You were designed for increase.

Go and multiply.

It’s already in you.
